Rogers Ventures: new player in the IT community
Last month I translated the Rogers Ventures website in French in collaboration with Duncan Moore.
Co-chaired by Melinda Rogers, daughter of company founder Ted Rogers, Rogers Ventures is a new « venture-style funding mechanism » for Canadian IT start-ups « with lots of value add ».
With already three start-ups in its investment portfolio (GridCentric, Thoora and Zoocasa), the new company will also actively support community events such as Webcamps across Canada.
