Take Off Your Clothes! All of You!

Kudos to Aleece who just launched the official website for Take Off Your Clothes, organized by her S.W.A.P. Team non-profit organization to help people share their clothes while giving some away to charities.

The next Montreal Take Off Your Clothes event will be held for 3 consecutive days at the Piknik Electronik, on September 5-6-7, 2009.

This cool website, which includes a blog and a twitter feed (of course!) was crafted with the generous help of Neelan Rach, Simon Law, Daniel Mireault, Patrick Tanguay,… and myself. (Am I supposed to mention it was « generous » when my name is among the donors? Hm… Nevermind.)

I did the translation for the French website and will continue to do so for future blog posts etc., so that Take Off Your Clothes (or « Déshabille-toi ! ») remains a proudly bilingual event for all Montrealers.

I tried to propose « L’Escouade Textile » as a French translation for The S.W.A.P. Team but for various reasons it became « L’Équipe S.W.A.P. », which is just as good.

No need to mention, the whole website is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license – cos, you know, it’s all about sharing.

  • Gabriel a écrit :

Je ne suis pas allé plus loin que le slogan, mais «le plus grand échange de vêtements dans l’Amérique du Nord» n’est pas français.

Il faudrait lire «EN Amérique du Nord».
